Data Controller
The data controller of the personal data collected through the website aicronaca.it is DORIBENE SOCIETA’ A RESPONSABILITA’ LIMITATA SEMPLIFICATA (DoriBene S.r.l.s.), VAT No. and tax code 04581270230, REA 432439, with registered office at Via Leoncino 16, 37121 Verona (VR), Italy.
For privacy-related requests: info@doribene.it or doribene@pec.it.
What data we process and why
Technical browsing data. When the website is visited, the systems that deliver the pages may process technical data necessary for Internet communication, such as IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, information about the browser and device, response code and, if transmitted by the browser, the referring page. They are used to provide the pages, maintain security and stability and diagnose errors.
Data communicated by email. If you choose to contact the controller, the email address and the data entered in the message will be processed to respond to and handle the request. The website has no contact forms, registration or newsletter.
Push notifications. If you enable alerts from the website and grant the permission requested by the browser, AICronaca stores the technical address of the push service and the keys needed to send notifications about new news. These data are used exclusively for delivering alerts and are not used to create profiles. You can disable alerts from the “Avvisi” button in the bottom menu or from the browser settings; the subscription is removed from the system when you disable it or when the push service reports that it is no longer valid. Delivery involves the notification provider associated with the browser and device.
The website does not use traffic analysis, profiling or behavioural advertising tools and does not make automated decisions about users.
Legal basis
Technical data are processed for the controller's legitimate interest in making the pages available and protecting the service from errors and unlawful access (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data voluntarily sent by email are processed to respond to the request and, where necessary, to take pre-contractual measures or comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c), or legitimate interest depending on the content of the request). Technical data for push notifications are processed only after consent expressed through the browser (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which may be revoked at any time.
Methods, recipients and transfers
Data are processed using IT tools and appropriate technical measures. They may be accessible to authorised personnel and to providers supporting hosting, maintenance, security and email, appointed as data processors where required. They may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law. For push notifications, the subscription address and keys are transmitted to the browser's push service (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla, depending on the device and browser) to deliver the alert.
The pages and images of the website are hosted on the controller's web service; no players, maps, social widgets or third-party content are embedded in the website. The website may contain promotional links to Doribene's AI services, identified as partner content. Google Analytics for AICronaca is being configured and is not loaded until it is activated on the website. Once active, the measurement tag will be loaded only after the user's explicit consent to the analytics category; without consent the tag is not loaded. Consent may be revoked at any time via the “Riapri preferenze cookie” command in the footer. Google LLC may process technical browsing data to generate statistics according to the property settings and the user's choice. Google AdSense ads and advertising tools are not active; any activation will require an update to this notice and separate management of preferences. Links to publications and other external websites open only at the user's choice: from that point, the respective operators' notices apply.
Push notifications depend on the browser service chosen by the user; the relevant provider may process data also outside the European Economic Area according to its own terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Any other transfers carried out by technical providers are governed by the terms and safeguards applicable to the services used.
Retention
Technical data are retained for the time necessary for the purposes of delivery and security and according to the log rotation configurations of the hosting service. Email messages are retained for the time necessary to handle the request and any legal obligations or protection of rights. For the ranking of the most-clicked news items, the website increments an aggregate counter associated with the slug of the selected article. The system does not record IP addresses, accounts, browser identifiers or individual histories in the counter; normal technical server logs remain subject to the retention rules described above. The cumulative total per article remains stored until it is reset or the news item is removed. Push subscriptions are retained until revocation or until the push service reports invalidity. The controller does not establish through the website an archive of profiles or individual browsing histories.
Rights
In the cases provided for by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and object to processing by contacting the controller at the addresses indicated above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Rights may be subject to the exceptions established by law.
Updates
This notice may be updated when the website or the processing described changes. The version published on this page is the current one.
