The announcement and the product
Wizcore, a Korean company specializing in AI-based digital transformation for design and manufacturing, announced on 26 October the expansion of its provision of ARES Kudo Professional, the web and mobile CAD solution developed by Germany's Graebert, according to a report by ETNews. The company also announced a 1+1 promotion valid throughout November 2026, from the 1st to the 30th, with the stated aim of reducing the economic barrier to adoption for companies and designers.
ARES Kudo Professional combines two components: ARES Kudo, accessible via browser, and ARES Touch, the smartphone and tablet version. The product allows users to create, edit and share AutoCAD DWG drawings directly from a browser or mobile devices, connecting the office to the construction site. According to the company, the web version offers more than 300 two-dimensional CAD functions and the viewing of three-dimensional files without installing software; the mobile version allows users to view and correct drawings via a dedicated app and to quickly share changes arising from site inspections or client reviews.
What's new in the update: AI and automation
This year's update expands AI-based functions for text management and block creation. The system supports translation of text in drawings, sentence review, spell-checking, drafting of descriptions and summaries, with the stated aim of facilitating collaboration with foreign partners and document production. By describing a required symbol in words, it is possible to generate CAD blocks for doors, sockets and tables, then modify and reuse them. The AI assistant called ARES AI Assist (A3) provides guidance on functions, helps with command searches and supports calculations and unit conversions.
On the operational side, the AREANOTE function calculates the area of a selected region and displays its color and description. In PDF export, it is possible to set format, orientation, scale and print range, using CTB and STB styles to maintain line weight and color criteria. The latest web update introduces a contextual ribbon menu for quick access to external reference tools, improves the file and folder management screen and model previews, and according to the company increases the stability of integration with cloud storage such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive and Dropbox.
Cloud drawing automation makes it possible to schedule and execute repetitive operations on multiple files in batches, with the workload transferred to the server rather than the user's PC. The system also supports the automatic generation of DWG plans, sections and elevations from Revit- and IFC-based BIM models, with updates as the model changes. Wizcore declares its intention to combine AI and automation on web and mobile to extend CAD use from design to on-site verification.
What remains to be verified
The material only announces the expansion of the offering and the product's features: it does not indicate license volumes, acquired customers, expected revenues or the results of the promotion. The actual scope of the expanded distribution and the commercial impact of the initiative therefore remain to be verified. The described functionalities, including those based on AI, are presented as company statements and do not appear to be supported by independent tests. The news is relevant to the market for CAD software in web and mobile environments, but its concrete scope will depend on actual adoption, which is currently not quantified.
